Character Development
● Pupils will learn to develop self-discipline, resilience and commitment through their trainings and competitions. Through these interactions, our pupils will be able to develop in their social-emotional competences as they learn to respect their peers and competitors.
● Through the practices and matches, our pupils will:
- build confidence
- develop problem solving and communication skills
- develop cooperative skills to promote harmony and inclusiveness in the group
- develop good sportsmanship
Programmes /Activities
- Warming-up exercises: such as footwork, stretching and running.
- Drills and skill practices to improve the players’ strength and abilities.
e.g. Backhand, forehand, pair-practice shots etc. - Sparring matches during trainings to increase the players’ cooperation, competiveness and readiness.
- Friendly matches, cooling down exercises and games help to promote the love for the sport and camaraderie among our players.
